Welcome to First Grade!

• The students will be given a "Word Wave" packet at the beginning of the school year. This packet will remain at home, and will help to reinforce sight words.

• The students will also receive a monthly reading log. First graders are expected to read 15-20 minutes, at least 5 nights a week.

• A math packet will be sent home every Thursday. Please make sure to work with your child each week, and return the packet by the following Thursday.
